84 airfooler - whats it worth?

I drove 400 miles to pick up this machine about 6 months ago so I would have something to ride while I put a thumper together... (the 2 stroke is not for me). I am selling and would like some opinions on what it is worth.

Runs good - may need some fine tuning - not perfect thru all RPM's - but hauls @$$ nonetheless... absolute power........ it is geared as low as possible and it is still too fast

Has waterpumper carb fairly well dialed in, fresh wiseco/rings, clean plastic, seatcover, brand new rear pads, (replaced rear rotor also), aluminum 707's bars, open uni filter, and fresh turf tamer tires

the bike is in great condition but I have noticed a few things wrong with it. The front brake reservoir is yamaha and is only about 25-50% effective. The clutch needs adjusted or worked on - it works good now but I think it needs some attention because you can not adjust it very much- maybe it doesnt? The waterpumper float is not perfect because it overflows a bit when the petcock is left on. The rear bearings and front fork seals are both slightly worn - but IMO not replaceable yet.

included with the trike is a race ported head/cyl, new rear bearings and seals, new fork seals, new kicker spring (not needed), stock air box, maybe some other stuff, -and a fresh case full of motul synthese that I just put in it.

NOTE: pictures wil be replaced with more current pictures soon

Sounds like a nice trike. Its hard to give a good guess without actually seeing it, but I can tell you that I sold my all origional 83' 250R that was in real nice shape for $1000. Theres a picture of it in my sig. And if you want to see the detailed description of it, check the classifieds. Its from a couple weeks ago. Hope this helps.

    I am getting a 350X and building a 200X - can't afford to keep them all.

    If I can't get my 800 I may keep it..ha
