    DG pipe for Tecate

Does anyone have the DG pipe off of Ebay that is selling for $45. I got one and am having a hard time getting it to fit. Maybe this is why it was so cheap. Also, it does not say DG on it anywhere. It looks a lot like the stocker but without the shield. I don't know if it is worth much power.
It should be easy to modify to fit but is anyone else having problems?
    Thanks
    Mike

Where is it that it won't fit? The very first mounting point connects to the frame with an rubberised fitting that you may be missing.

I have the pipe and it fits fine on both T3's. Pipe makes more power than stock for sure but I had to rejet the carb.

thanks Big Green. Your post gave me a great idea. look on the old pipe for parts. there was no rubber part but there was a homemade jobbey that makes it fit almost perfect.
    Thank you .

PS Is there a gasket of some sort where the pipe enters the motor

O-rings and a copper crush washer/gasket. I would recommend going to Kawi and ordering the rubber mount for your exhaust, if not the mount on the pipe will crack.

Wonder why that guy has so many of those pipes? He was selling them for $35. I bought one too and I have no complaints. But I had to make a custom hanger cause my stock mount was broke.

I also bought one off ebay and it works great. I have a DG national pipe that I compared it to and they are very close to the same. It dose not say DG on it anywhere , but thats no big deal . For that price on a new old stock pipe, you can beat it.

Kind of squashes the myth on this board that DG pipes "are basically just a stock replacement", huh?
