    84 200x making ratcheting noise when in 2nd gear????

    my 200x is making a ratcheting noise when its in 2nd gear....its fine in 1st 3rd 4th and 5th, but 2nd is making a weird noise.....whats wrong????

    I just fixed a 110 and it made a noise like that. I found a tooth broken off the one gear.

    Mine made a noise like that in 3rd gear, not too long later it lost 3rd gear. It would just rev up like the clutch was spinning. I think it's bad news.
