I searched, but didn't find the info I was looking for... I noticed in my manual that the '86 250R has a lower footpeg height than the '85. Is the difference in the frame or the footpeg? I'm 6'2", and every little bit helps (I have an '85). Thanks!![]()

The foot peg plates are different from the 85-86. I don't know it for fact but I would assume that is where the height difference is made up at. The peg plates have the same mounting bolts, but if you get the 86 plates you'll need the 86 pegs because where they attach on with the pin is different from what I've been told.
Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. I'll try to pick up some '86 pegs and check it out. Maybe the pegs and an '86 seat will give me a little more room to stretch out...![]()
