I would go with Cobra. DG's are fugly.

Just watch out for the headpipe...it might burn up; the paint that is.

Supertrapp...I don't really see the hub-bub and bassani's are cool but i don't like the growl they make. I had one on my 83 and it was sort of cool.

Don't go with a Cobra! They're rattly, raspy and annoying after the first 3 seconds. Also they are notorious for blowing out the core (it's held in with only 1 bolt, unlike FMF and comparable pipes that use 6 or more). They're just cheaply made and they are cheap to buy, truly an example of "You get what you pay for"

DG is one step ahead of cobra I think. I didnt have good luck with a cobra on my 200x. I put it on and rode it for half the winter and the first problem was when I went to check the packing most all of it was blow out and burnt. Then the mounting bracket broke off the frame on a small jump, then finally the core shot out after the internal bracket snapped. Best is to custom fab a nice exhaust on it. I found a shortened procircuit t-4 that was used for racing on ebay for pretty cheap and did a few things to make it fit.

good call. we have 3 trikes. we have 1 with a dg, one with a cobra, and one with a bassani. the cobra is the worse sounding of all of em. i like the dg more than my bassani but i cant argue with the price i payd for it.
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.

    GIT IT RAAAGGGGG !!!!

Maybe it was just because I had a modified 200x and it all went together. I really don't see why you all had such a bad experience with Cobra. Mine made such a good low harley style rumble I could not get enough of it. It is too bad really. I had a really good experience with them.

Was it the megaphone cobra or the jet series one? My cobra was somewhat deep but didnt have a nice tone. I dont like the harley tone to them, I like the real deep atv sound like the 450 race quads have. My pipe sounds similar but dosent crack as loud.
