Is it possible to adjust the cam timing for more RPM or more torque? How about the ignition timing? Do you just leave it straight up or can these be tweaked for a little more juice? This is for 83-85 200x. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.

Dennis Kirk was selling cam sprockets that had a whole bunch of holes in them and they said it was for tweeking the cam timing. I suppose you just rotate the sprocket with the cam bolts out until the next set of holes line up and install bolts. I dont' see what this difference would be rather than just having the timing a tooth off?
by advancing the cam timing it increases low end and retarding the cam timing increases top end. however, piston to valve clearance becomes a problem. the valve could possibly hit the piston.
Back on 2 wheels for now!
