    atc 250r head gaskets

well here we go again, i haven't got much info/feedback from 'yall here, don't know why but i just re-bored, new piston (freshened up) the top end and am wondering if i should go with the thick (.020) composite onr or the steel shim (.010) one? i am running a coolhead with a 19cc dome and i don't want any leaks or problems. i do know i'll need to use some kind of sealant on the steel one. so please give me some feedback/knowledge.

depends if you want to ues race gas or not, well, for 19cc dome you should anyway. If you do use the thin gasket, spray it with copper coat on boith sides. When its tacky, then put in it the cylinder. Mine never leaked doing this. The thin gasket is gonna give you more compression, it helps with low end and torque.
