shorty header pipes arent illegal as long as you have an exhaust with cats. only thing that stinks about newer stangs is strict emmisions regulations, a coulpe more years i can run just stright pipes and ill be fine,but for right now flowmasters are fine. yea if you really want to wake your car up an h/c/i swap would be idea, thats what i want to do. but head this warning, drive it stock for a year or so first, even stock mustangs are too much power for beginers, get used to it find your limits and the cars limits and improve it step by step from there

yeah i kno but ive drove this car plenty of times when my bro had it on the road i use to drive it alot but im gonna wait on mods till next year wat i really wanna do is tear that 5.0 out and throw in a small block something i can work on.

Man plus would be slapping a cam in it, you'll notice a REAL difference with that! haha make it a fony pony! be surprised how common that is in the pro series

Yea man, when it comes down to performance a cam is the key to having a strong running machine. No matter what people say about a supercharger, turbo, nitrous, intake, etc your cam will give a significant power difference and pull through the powerband. Yea boost is nice but that's another story and reguires more tunning and setting up

Yea, im not a huge ford fan so I don't know where to look to be honest. Now Jegs is a good place to start or a specialty mustang website. Even a goof mustang forum would be a good place to look because most of those guys are using custom cut cam's and well if the person knows what they are doing you could gain EVERY HP you have at every RPM..

buy a trick flow stage 1 cam, best mild cam made hands down for mostely stock stang's motorsport cam's were good in the 90's but time's have changed and a split duration cam will work way better than a e cam plusthe trick flow cam is stupid cheap! plus it's not to big that you would have have to change your valve springs!
