PJ1 or belray the sticky stuff. some people sware by the chain wax,,I like the sticky stuff

I use a wire brush thats the size of a tooth brush..and a little gas.. wipe it clean with a rag with gas on it..let it evaporate and then oil

if its starting to kink in some links soak it in oil for a day or so

YUP, what CORN-holy-o said. I have used chain wax, its not to bad but you really need to keep up with it as it seems to 'melt' off quite easily when the chain gets hot from a long ride. the best thing to do for a lasting chain over everything else would be to buy a good quality chain first. cheap chains with a few exceptions just don't last for crap no matter how regimented you cleaning and greasing schedule is.
