Don't go getting upset about this idiot. He's been trashing trikes for years. Do a search on the forums. You'll see he has been discussed in detail.

Just ignore him, too many people out there that believe everything they hear. ATC's take more than-the-average rider skill (and talent) to be able to ride.
I'm suprised that he rated the YZ490 as a terrible bike. A friend of mine has one, and other than tall and heavy, it seems like it does fine to me.

Yeah he's been saying this for years as far as I can tell. it got me frustrated when I first started reading it, then I started to read some of his other stuff and it all started to make sense. He talks about carbs that are "impossible to jet" and bikes that "wander like a buffalo on steriods", and lots of other stuff like that. he just sounds like someone cant learn to adjust to small differences or things he finds difficult on bikes hes not used too. Which would be strange considering he's an expert on dirtbikes I guess. We all know that a three wheeler doesnt suddenly start trying to tip over above speeds of 20 miles an hour or any speed for that matter, and they handle great too especially later models with full suspension.

I bet he rode a US 90 and ran his leg over, tried to ride a 70 and couldnt make it move, then fell off the back of a 185s trying to pop a wheelie and made his opinions on trikes from then on.

thats why I like to read articles by superjunky on here instead
    85 Tecate, 2002 Honda 300EX, 83 & 84 250R, a bunch of honda 4 strokes from 90 to 200cc, a klt 110, ytm 200, polaris 250 cyclone, '05 Roketa 125 (cheap chinese pitbike to beat on), '69 Scrambler 6x6, and a 52 John Deere B (hey its a rowcrop narrow front, that counts right? )
Trike Fest 06 and 07 Survivor, hoping to make it to 2010

I'd disagree with a few of his picks.

I had an 81 CR 450. I thought it was a good trial bike. The guy I bought it from had been competing in hare scrambles with it.

My 78 IT 175 was by far the worst bike I ever owned. The single shock suspension would pitch you as quickly as the old bikes with dual rear shocks.

In my opinion, three wheelers are the ultimate trail bikes. They are much better in the woods than any dirt bike or 4 wheeler.

All it is people don't know how to ride them !

I Love three wheels - Scary at first but after you get the hang of it .... it's a done deal !

I had a bunch of kids riding ATC 70 they loved it and they even ran their legs over after i told them bunch of times not to put their feet down ... They just kept taking turns - even the injured ones LOL ...

People ask me why i wear MX boots ... when i ride my ATC

Rick "loves" Seimens is a moron! Not only does he love bashing three wheelers -but apparently he loves not knowing what they are - the article is plain as day - top 10 worst dirt bikes! - since when is a 3 wheeler a dirt bike?? This guy has no idea about 3 wheelers - except the fact that his big dumb ass never learned to master one - end of story -
