Took the day off from work to go visit an older Honda dealer mechanic . He buys up all the NOS parts at his local Honda,Kaw,Suz, Yamaha dealer for a cheap price because they just want to get it off there shelfs . Heres the list of stuff I bought from him today and some pics too .
[1] NOS KLT FR. Rack still in the box wrapped up in some sort of waxed cloth?
[1] NOS KLT 250 foot rest kit
[1] NOS summer yellow ATC 90 Headlight shell
[1] NOS ATC 250es Fr. rack has some shelf wear
and 5 brochures.
He told me about a guy that came to see him 3 years ago to see if he wanted to buy a mint 86 250r off him, so he went to look at it and he said it looked brand new. He asked the guy what was up with it. He told him he bought it brand new , got it home and took it for a ride and it literally scared the heck out of him so he parked it in his garage and it sat there up until 3 yrs ago. So he asked this man what he wanted for it and he told him since he had only ridden one time ,he would like to get $2600 for it. But he told him that was too much for him to buy and try to resell and make a profit . So I asked him If he still had it and he said no, he eventually sold it .
