Thumbs up Banshee shock on Tecate PICS

Just a couple pics of the Banshee shock. It is a little shorter than the Tecate shock but not even an inch.

Looks great skipper! The old shocks are great fresh but finding one with low hours is next to impossible.

This shock feels great. I think its a little stiff thou. I'll have to play with it. I think now that I am done with this one, I want to sell it and start another one.
These are a lot of fun to rebuild. After riding, I think the Tecate is too much for me. I think it's going to get the best of me. I'm use to 4stroke torque. I once had a piped up banshee but it was nothing like the lightswitch power and featherlight frontend of the Tecate.

Shock looks good, trike looks good. Practice with the Tecate, you'll get it, they are very addictive.

cool, I am glad it worked for you. for any of you other guys thinking of doing this....if you dont have a stock swing arm check your clearances. this shock will not work on an 86\87 and will not work on my franks swinger because the res. will hit the cross brace on the swinger

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

so did you hae to mod anything like the bolt holes or anything, or does it bolt right up.

And along with that, what year banshee shocks will work? Or do they all?

I didn't mod anything. It fit right in with no drilling or spacers. I think all Banshees are the exact same. The only difference was in 87 and 88 they had J arms in front. My shock was off a 2006.
