can anyone get me a good pic of the kick start return spring for an 85 350x. i am trying to figure out if i have the right one or not. this thing is "edited word" killing me.

Most of them a nearly identical. Unless that motor was in a box with 3 other motors I'll bet you have the right one. It takes almost a full half turn to rotate CLOCKWISE past the case mounted latch to get it all in right.
If you get a manual it has a picture and a good write up on how to do it....
EDIT - It's most likely correct but look at Western or Service Honda or BBandit for the schematic to see if it's close.

yeah i got a service manual and checked bike bandit pics, the spring i have doesn't look like either. it seems as thought the hook on the spring is to long and not positioned right. if you was closer to NC i would ask you to look at her.

Post a picture of your spring, ask for a used one in classifieds or just go buy a brand new one.
