We should set up a rout pretty early in the planning. That way it can be adjusted along the planning stages.

sounds pretty cool, if you guys dont mind a few other trikers taggin along I might be up for it. I'll be done with school by then, my buddy's got a dodge cummins and another has a twin axle trailer, so we should be able to bring out a few trikes. I'd be interested in going to see what ridin out west is like, if thats cool with you guys.

I hope you guys are planning some recovery time after this trip. I have a feeling you'll be sore for weeks.

It will be like the rodeo life style all over again. Shooting to one town after another just to geat all tore up all over again. I do not miss those days. I will not be able to take a break after. The Border Patrol will be expecting me after I get back from Iraq. So I plan to make this trip count.

If any of you guys don't have a Camelback (or similar product) yet, I highly recommend picking one up before you hit the dunes. At least the southwestern dunes anyway.

Okay, I am going to bring this up again. Let's start planning some kind of route. We can start by riding areas. Once we have an idea where they are we can plat a course.

Well from the looks of it there are at least five major states to hit. Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona.

I need some assistance of places in each state.

    Oregon:

    California:

    Nevada:

    Utah:

    Arizona:

Major sites I'd like to see include: Glamis, Imperial Dunes, Oregon Dunes, Pismo, Dumont, Little Sahara. Probably several more.

I replied in the dot org thread but I'll say here too. Don't bother with Arizona. The Cinders are at 7000 feet so it'll be cold up there when you come through. That's the summer spot around here. Most of us AZ riders go to Glamis and Gordons Well (both are in southeastern CA).
