    any tips for cleaning float valve seat?

    the carb on my '85 200x keeps trickling gas out the overflow tube. i have put in a carb rebuild kit and gas still trickles out the overflow. I got the all plastic float and there is no metal adjusting tab as the manual says. i did clean carb with spray carb cleaner. I've heard the valve seat is not replaceable and i just have to clean it better. any tips to clean the valve seat to get the float valve to seat better :? thanks.

    KilabeezO i see you had the same problem in an old post, what did you do to get it corrected?
