    Unhappy where to find custom sprockets??

    As I said before I like mudding and trail rides over top speed. This in mind I'm looking for options for my 200m and 200e, I would like to go taller than my 25x12x9 tires if possible and maybe change my front/rear sprockets I've been searching on web w/out much luck. Can any of you more exp wrench twisters help with this? Maybe custom parts sites or something?? I think my stocks are 11:47. Also are there any other type of rims that will fit the 200series utility ATC's. Thanks for the feed back!!

    i can get you a 8 tooth front sprocket here in town. they are about 12 bucks i think. as far as rear sprocket you would have to have a shop make one up for ya.
    down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.

    YOu can get a smaller front sprocket for the 200M, fits multiple models.

    The 200E I believe is only available in the 11 tooth upfront.

    Only rear I can find ist a 47 tooth.

    The nice option is 520 chain is the same pitch as #50 chain its just narrower. You'd have to find a #50 sprocket and have it turned down to be thinner, and also to have the mounting patterned machined into it. Brake lathe would do this quick as can be.

    Heres a company I found in 10 seconds of googling #50 sprocket. THey manufacture #50 sprockets from 8 tooth through 125 tooth with the sprocket diameter specs.

    The one thing to consider is how poor is the performance now, and how big do you plan to go.

    Assuming the stock gearing with the 25" tires is adequate, you'd only be needing a 51 tooth to keep the gearing the same as stock if you stepped up to a 27".

    In the Case of the M assuming same gearing as the Big Red with 11 front 47 rear, you'd only have to drop down to a 10 front to get the same gearing with 27" as a the 25".

    You'd need a lower gearing than you think to turn big mud tires. They're not only bigger and taller, but heavier, etc.

    8 tooth? Thats VERY small! Probably cause a little more chain wear also from the weird angles. But if you got an 8/35 it would have alot of low end power. Sidewinder can probably make you a sprocket for the rear.

    before I go to far gear changing i still have the isue of wheel size and ihave not seen anything taller than a 25" that will fit a 9" rim

    i use to run a 8 tooth. it did better than most people would think. i thought it would chew chains and wear quickly and it didnt do neither. it lasted me a while (got rid of it because im building the auto-x) and so did the chain. the chain is now sitting a quad because it wouldnt go on my x (not long enough).



    the only problem with the 8 tooth is on the 200s it needs a snap ring to keep it on the shaft because there isnt enough sprocket to drill holes for the plate to bolt too.

    you will need to up your rim size to a 10 or so to get a 27. id stick good 25 inch aggressive tires under it. good rubber does more than protect ya. it gives you good traction in the mud holes and trails.
