Yamaha never made a trike in 1987, neither in 1986.
    Do you know the model?
there was a 1988 ytm-200e to sell in the local classidied a couple of weeks ago. I called the seller and he did'nt know anything about it. and he was asking $2000. I'm pretty sure it was in fact a 84haha

    That Tri Moto is priceless...............

    What color is it?
    How many CC?
    Does it have reverse?
    Is it fully suspended?
    Doe's it run?

I can tell you that there was NEVER a 87 Tri Moto EVER made.

I know its a 200cc , thats pretty much it, looked painted over with green(bluish) inside the cracks. He pulled it inside for the night, but I can take a better look and pics tomorrow hopefully.

    Its raining outside so I was able to go inside the nasty garage to look, this is what I saw on it;

    Green fenders
    Dual Headlights
    Full Suspension
    Water Cooled
    200 or 250cc (might be 250, dunno)
    8-10in of travel in front
Says Z200 *again might be 250*
Small gas tank *looks like a flattrack tank*
    Dual Radiator
    Manual
    Little Cooler Rack in back
Frame looks to wrap around the gas tank, maybe im wrong.

I couldnt take pics due to his... *illegal plants* that he was growing, lol.

Never a 87 Tri-z only 85 and 86 what color was the frame? If it is a Tri-z for 300 bucks and runs and rides, sounds like a good price for it.Pic of tri-z attached for you.If it looks like this pic then it is a Tri-z.

Thats what it looks like. The frame is black. Is there a way to see the year made? like a Honda ATC?

There are serial numbers on the gooseneck.I am not sure what digit you need to Know,But a easy sign is if it is a six speed then it is a 86.The 86 also had a coolant overflow bottle mounted on the frame above the sprocket. The 85 had the coolant bottle under the seat and was a 5 speed.Either way 300 bucks for a running Tri-z is a good price.I mean good price too.Unless it is just beat to the ground.
