    Tecate sprocket combos

I know it's been covered before, but I've changed mine and maybe you have also...so, what's your current sprocket combo and what do you think about it?

Mine: 14/38 I like it, but maybe I want more on the topend. I'm hesitant to go to 15 on the front, I wonder if I could find a 37 or 36 for the rear and how would that work?

I would say stay far away from the 15. I got one and it's so close to the case it's not even worth trying.

14/39 or 38 is pretty standard with 18's. Im 180-185 pounds and I find that, that is the perfect combo of accel and top speed. Any higher and you will be riding the clutch in slow stuff, and lower and you will be thrown off!

13 , 38 is what I am using . Seems to have great top end and still works well in the drags.

JT has 34 tooth steel sprockets that will fit the T3. Search the forum for Tecate sprocket options and you'll find the number.

I forgot about the tires, mine are 20's.

Matt, how are your shoulders? Your trike ought to be jerking them outa socket!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen the 34 sprocket and think that maybe it is too tall. I'm dreaming of a 36.

I can ride 4 gear wheelies in the sand in 4th gear. It will pull up in 5th in the grass. But I love it . I was thinking of trying 13 42 for the drags next TF but we will see. It is a bit jerky Chris.

Can't you get a 36 from JT as well? Search for the thread Tecat-z started about gearing. It has numbers for the sprockets.
