i bought it. plans are to enjoy it. as for being a real SS i am not sure. it is a X11 car with power disk but it does not have the original engine. so who really knows?????
mmm damn thats a damn nice car....67 68 and 69 camaros are my favorite cars....as for it being a real ss my understanding is the ss came with bucket seats, console shifter, disc brakes, were available with 350's and 396's engines, and A/C

so i gotta ask, i don't need a figure, but was the price comparible with what everything else is going for these days? I got my 1971 Torino GT in 97 i think for about $1600 and now it would probably go for about $12,000. Go figure...
Nice man, always loved that style camero. Whats the rear end, gearing, tranny, all that stuff? Looks great dude, post a few pics of the engine if you get a chance
85 Tecate, 2002 Honda 300EX, 83 & 84 250R, a bunch of honda 4 strokes from 90 to 200cc, a klt 110, ytm 200, polaris 250 cyclone, '05 Roketa 125 (cheap chinese pitbike to beat on), '69 Scrambler 6x6, and a 52 John Deere B (hey its a rowcrop narrow front, that counts right?)
Trike Fest 06 and 07 Survivor, hoping to make it to 2010
you would have to get the engine option from the build tag and crossrefrence with the build date to find out if true ss. also the x11 was not a SS only option. The first year Camaros didnt include a SS vin or build tag, some of the 67s did I think it was an X on the tag for a SS

i have not decoded the tag yet. I know that all nor most x11's were SS's. it was just as option. i doubt it was a SS to start with. i really do not care
i paid a decent price for it but these cars range from $15000 for a driver to $150000 for a show car.
here is the auction. i bought it out of ebay

looks great no matter what it is I used to have a few chevelles, one of which was a true 66ss had a 502 donavon aluminum block in it, pushing 800 hp but that was 14 years ago. lol I wouldnt have bought that just because of the GIt r done reference. Love them 60's chevys here is my 60 vette and that is me as a baby just to give you an idea how long its been in the fam
