There is a tag on the frame where the steering stem is, it will say the year, model, ser.#, and month and year it was assembled.

The atc 70 actually had there sticker on the right side of the frame, next to the air box. I see yours doesn't have it anymore though. Is it a 3 speed tranny or 4 speed? If 4 speed does it shift up into gear or down into gear?

If your tank is original then your 70 is an 83.

did the 70 have numbers engraved in the neck like the rest of the hondas ? take a look if there are send me a pm or post the numbers and we will help ya.

I would agree. I must have been tired last night, Honda switched to a 4 speed back in 82 so it could be an '82, '83, or '84. Tank decails are '83 ones though.If your tank is original then your 70 is an 83.
