You guys with trouble shifting with MX boots...

Hey guys, I'm just outside screwing around with parts and stuff today and came upon something. My MX boots are a size 10 so I don't have any trouble shifting at all with my GAERNE's. Which by the way, they were 200$ 10 years ago and have paid for themselves time and time again.

Anyhow, the stock 250SX gear shifter is 7 1/2"s from center of shift shaft to the tip which is about 2 inches longer than allot of the other shifters that I have. They are cheap and easy to find on EBAY and I think they might help you guys with Gorilla feet to get your hoof under the shifter.

My boots have saved me from a broken ankle dozens of times and they give you more confidence when attempting bigger jumps. I highly advise wearing boots along with your helmet and chest protector. Try an SX shifter and let me know what you think.

When I went back and read my post I thought "gorilla" that'll get Syko's attention LOL!! Anyhow, the SX shifter should work for you guys who can't get there foot under the stock shifter.

Nice. I feel everyone should put boots on the list of must haves. Either riding boots or just plain work boots but tennis shoes wont cut it. Specially on a trike...no wheels in front of yer feet for protection.
