87 Quadzilla for $4000, what ya think?

I went to take a look at an 87 zilla today, dg pipe and not much else work. The owner said he just rebuilt it head to toe and its a nice looking bike. I cant find pics but i heard there were problems with the 87 motors? Is $4000 a good deal Canadian? I tried the thing out and it was insane.

if it has a 5 bolt head they tend to blow head gaskets. if its the 6 bolt should be ok. just what i heard from a friend who had one.

thats insane,
the one heres pretty much all stock and a 5 bolt head. that one there for less is insane.

I think $4k is a little high. Ones on ebay go cheeper...however sometimes it worth paying a little more for something that you can physically see and ride first. If you feel comfortable with paying $4,000 then go for it. Things are only worth what others are willing to pay, if you get my drift.
