Yes you are correct, air cooled cr's were very light. 175-180 lbs. Smaller frame material and suspension components really kept the overall weight down. Plus the lack of liquid cooling. I think this is one of the smoothest looking converts i've seen in a long while. The red engine along with the other parts he's adding in will make for an outstanding looking machine. I've met 1up at Smith Road, and with his background in paint and body, this is sure to be an awesome looking bike when done. Not to mention a strong running one when you consider the weight of the entire package including rider.
