I'm switching over to a taper roller bearing kit I got for 84 R, do I have to take the triple to a shop and have stock one pressed off stem and other one pressed on?
I see at least the stem is clamped in instead of pressed in so at least that should make it easier for them, I imagine ?

.......... but those guys did it the hard way, I'm almost positive the right way to take the bottom race off is to take to shop and they can press stem off, then race off using a hydraulic press.
will do it but a press will be the easyest
