    smoke?

    I got my 1982 yamaha tri-moto running and its a 175cc 2 stroke and it smokes blue smoke out the tail pipe is that normal?

    Yes. Its a 2 stroke.
    1986 200x- old school D.I.D wheels, Gold D.I.D X-Ring Chain, Rad MFG. Carrier, PRM Grab Bar, Pro Circuit T-4 custom, Maier plastics, 85x forks, 18x10.5x8 kenda klaw mxr's on itp steels, the money pit never ends

    2004 YFZ450 - CP 12.5:1, cam mod , gibson nerfs, hmf pipe, protaper bars + risers, dg bumper/skids, holeshot gncc's on itps, cycra handguard and more stuff to come.

    Two-strokes always smoke. If I were you, I'd ditch the oil injection, learn to premix and just mix your own gas. Cuts down on the chance that your oil pump would go bad and cost you a new top end or more damage.

    ok, after you get your oil injection disconnected make sure you cover up the oil holes on the outside of the carb, pre mix, use any high quality 2 stoke oil (that you cant buy at wall mart!) mix it 32 to 1 or 20 oz to 5 gallons of gas 20 oz is a coke bottle, we dont want to hear about you seizing your motor just DO IT!

    Actually for 32:1 you'll need 25.5 oz per 5 gallons

    well, to make it REALLY simple......a 32:1 mix would be 1 GALLON of oil to 32 GALLONS of fuel...........so 1/2 gal. oil to 16 gal. fuel, 1/4 gal (quart) to 8 gal. fuel.........
