    Any New T3 Projects? Mine is Apart.

    Hey guys, haven't been lurking around here like I normally do so I figure I missed some good projects. Whats been happening in the T3 world?

    My 500 is apart still. The top end is sitting on my desk and the bottom is in the loft of teh shed along with some other parts.

    My brother is home from Austin since last month so we have been workng on some stuff around the house and that diesel J5 I posted in the Open Forum.

    I start school (Heavy Equipment Operator ) at the local college Monday so I'll have to fit the build in during the nights.

    I'm going to strip the rest of my parts saturday and paint them this coming week.

    I also still have the 01 KX250 chassis that I'll finially have shipped home around Christmas time to put my 500 motor in.

    Once I get working this spring I'm going to turn the T3 into a 500 showtrike/ice racer and use the KX as my beater. No more mud and rocks for that thing.

    well my situation is still the same, lol, but i have seen a few newer projects going on. had to change out the clutch and some other parts on the ole mighty blaster so that kinda dipped into my t3 funds...soon as my blaster is back and up, time to get my t3 up and purring.
    1985 KXT 250 Tecate - kx cylinder, kx ignition, bassani headpipe, answer silencer, v-force reeds, 38mm airstyker carb, +2 franks swinger, raptor rear shock.

    1996 YSF240 Blaster - maxxed out!!!

    Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "HOLY SH-T, what a ride!"

    I might have another t3 on deck for the winter but I'm not going to get in a big hurry. It seems I have allmost enough parts to make another one but that will eat up all my spares. I guess it's better to use the parts rather then just have them sit arround. Going to need a few items for it I'm sure. I will know more in a few months or so.

    I get to take apart my KXT500 again
    I blew out third gear on its maiden voyage up Banshee Hill
    maybe while its apart it will become a 540
    I also have one T4 spread out in the shop

    I think I also need one of you guys to give me some lessons on riding a trike 20 yrs with out and I forgot how

    I am still working on mine... Mostly gathering parts for the engine rebuild and redoing my peg set-up (going rigid)... I have really been slacking on updating progress in my thread... But she will be going together soon... I am waiting on my new silencer so I can finish up the welding on the frame and get it ready to paint...then the "build-up" stage will begin...

    A show trike? Then how is that wicked big-bore trike supposed to feed its instictive desire to relocate and rearrange everything that crosses its path?

    It'll still get its knocks on the pond messin with everything out there, only now it'll drip dry and be clean. :P

    The 500 dirtbike definately has my interest right now.
