I love a good Tiger thread.....anyway I know alot of people give TIGERS a rough time or say they dont like them. When it comes to Hondas and tigers in my collection I have about equal numbers (One honda is brand new, another has the rarest of hondaline all over it and one has 85% NOS parts from 3 or 4 countries and all the others are just sweeeeet......

Now its time to jump on the bandwagon so to speak.

OPINION: I think 125 , 200. 250. tigers are kinda of fugly from the side without the shroud, I think the design with the shroud is very mean looking, the super 4 is just plain old bad ass race looking, the 500 is just a super rare factory 2 stroke beast on 3 wheels.

OPINION: The tigers wouldnt do well on the motocross track...they werent designed for that. No one made aftermarket parts for them so of course they would have a tough time compleing with some highly modded versions of machines on this board...

FACT: On the flat track circuit for what they were designed for they won.......

FACT: I would sell every Honda in my collection and then start selling the others (triz tecates etc) before the tigers would ever go up on the block. Why....Because I could always find given a 12 month period find another sweet replacement for any of the other machines.....I know people who have been looking for the rarer models of the tigers (not the 250) for years with cash and hand and have been unable to find one. I receive offers quite often on my restored ones.

FACT: In numbers Dr. Death tiger is tied on the level of rareness with 3tigers TIGER 80 for 1 found.........pretty rare

FACT: Dr Deaths machine is worth alot of Money.....How do I know??....because I have been offering a truck load of it ever since he came out with this TIGER and did again last night

And now is the time for Dr. OC.
Wikipedia "All Terrain Vehicle" Definition excerpt
Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

Totally agree, but I think you guys made a small mistake, its not tiger or the 490, rather THIS is the sickest illest fastest best handling machine ever built....

    drum roll....

    (definitly not being sarcastic now)

thats right boys, better not get in her way either, she'll take you out!!! actually, it kinda took me out on the first turn in mx, but we wont go there, haha

sorry had to do that, but seriously I do think Dr Death's Tiger is one of the coolest looking trikes on here for being mostly stock, but I do know that if I ever find another 86 tiger regardless of its condition (it could be a rusty frame with a gas tank, i dont care, haha) I will flaunt it on here like nobody's business, haha. Nice Tiger Dr. Death, hope to see more pics of it

And now is the time to unleash the beastly KLT 110, be afraid....be very afraid.... haha great thread

Ya when I was 8 I remember my dads friend had a tiger but the topend was blown. I forgot what size bike it was thoe. My dad was gonna buy it, but we moved 2 weeks later to El Cajon, so my dad forgot all about it. When I started getting back into 3wheelers, I remembered he had that tiger so I went to ask but I found out he killed himself over his wife divorcing him. So everything at the house that the wife thought was trash she trashed. I asked her about the bike and it was gone. I came back the next day and she was still throwing away stuff and I noticed there was a box full of bike parts. I checked it out and it had the tiger gas tank and a crankcase cover in it. When I saw that stuff I dropped a grumpy in my pants and took the stuff home. The gas tank was nice but it was a little sun beat. Every two years me and my family go to new york to see family, but my mom and sister stayed home the year I found the gastank and cover. Well while I was gone my sister wanted to clean up the backyard so out of the 9 billon ** EDITED** parts laying in the back of my yard she picked the tiger gastank and threw it away. When I got back I exploded like a bomb. She said she threw it away cause it was ugly looking. Well I got over it and I tryed to find the case but it was gone.
    My luck is just amazing.
