    Question 250ES Big Red-Parts Interchanging....

I'd like to know what other model ATC/ATV parts will interchange with the 250es. Like what bigger carbs could be used, heads, cams, hubs for bigger/better selection of wheels/tires etc.
I'm not looking to make my 250es some kind of racer, I might want to hop it up a little in the future, and would like a better selection of wheel/tire sizes. I've read a lot of threads about 200's but not the 250ES BIG RED.

I too sometimes find that the big red could use a bit more torque. esp. going up some mean hills. i guess a higher compression piston would help that though. Im not sure if any parts are interchangeable from bigger model atvs. as far as I know its just the 250sx and trx250.

i would think you could put a 300ex carb on it. I have not done it personally - but you can put a 300ex on a 350x as well as a 350x on a 250sx - thus I would think a 300ex carb fits. it should be a noticeable gain

I would throw the X carb on before the ex, reason being the ex is 1mm bigger and has an accelerator pump. I dont know if it would flood the ES out or not.
