right on just the answers i was lookin for does $450.00 sound reasonable for the the whole bottom end of a newly rebuilt 86 engine? I dont know much, but it seems a little too much. I'm sure I could sell the bottom end of the 85 for somthing but do you guys think its worth it?

The one thing you won't be able to bolt on is the overflow bottle for coolant.

85 is under the seat and you will have to run the 85 intake tube

Thanks for the insight guys and what exactly is the intake tube? Is it the same as the what the manual calls the Coolant breather tube?

well if the one on ebay is what you are looking at. Buy it soon before i get a few drinks in me and hit the BIN. yes 450 is worth it for bottom end only. You have the rest of the parts to put the top in and overflow bottle. Dont worry about the overflow bottle/airfilter. Its just the bottom you are switching.

like raffa said - a bottom end is worth at least 600 to rebuild and with six speed - priceless.

I dont need it but wouldnt mind having it.

I dont think so, but i dont think it could hurt anything. I've always put antifreeze directly in the radiator.
