    Need some carb help

atc 110. Runs pretty good. The problem I am having is the choke, I think? Starts and runs good as long as the weather is nice. But when it gets cold she is hard to start. Never wants to start with the choke on? Actually it may be running with the choke on? I am not sure which way the choke is. Anyway, cold weather is coming and it would be nice to fire it up in the cold on choke without playing with the plug.

    Thanks in advance.

Nice little ride, as for the choke when the lever is "up" the choke is on.

Well you can take the air box off and look in the carb and flip the lever. When the butterfly is closed the choke is ON.

Update, I think I fpound part of the problem. I have just discovered that the bike is running with the choke on? Apparently it has always run like this. Always ran good though just tough to start when cold.

Any suggestions based on this new information?

    Thanks,

I just love "new information"!!LOL. If it runs great with the choke on then you have a lean condition probably because the jets are gunked up. Remove the carb, clean it spotless and buy a rebuild kit. Make sure the kit has a preformed rubber gasket for the bowl and an oring and washer for the air screw. Only other thing could be an air leak somewhere in the intake.
