i was thinking of getting a dg ehaust for my 85 Z should i get it or just keep the stock one? also would i be getting more hp or just the same as stock

you will get good gains over stock. if your replacing the pipe, get some Boyesen reeds too, and be sure to REJET, no matter WHAT you do.
changing the reeds, or the pipe without rejetting will cause you to fry your motor.
but yes, you will get noticable gains.
