    85' 250SX fuel air mixture screw setting

    I just got me a mint, low hour, mostly original 1985 250sx. Somethings just bothering me about the carb and i don't currently have a manual so i was wondering if anyone knows the stock setting of the fuel air mixture screw. thanks

    It's about 1.5 turns out from LIGHTLY bottomed in all the way. That is if the oring, needle and seat are ok. If it's an 85 you may have a hard starting carb in the cold. They sold a kit for it or the starter jet can simply be opened up a bit. Lots of posts on this stuff if you search a bit.
