Get one from ESR? They still make them. Or try and score one off of Sleaze-Bay.

Seriously check ESR I'm pretty sure they still make it. If not look at the Paul Turner High Rev pipe or then ebay for a custom sectional. Those will be your best choices

I know they make ATC 5 pipes on ESR site, $250 for them, just wondering if anyone was gettin rid of one. Should i get an esr silencer to go with it?

Also was debating about the high rev pipe with fat boy silencer.

Is one setup better than ther other? or bout the same?

Theres a reason you never see Esr pipes for sell. I see ptr pipes for sell quite often. Go with the ESR. lower hitting powerband and doesnt let off on top. Ptr pipe is too hight hitting of a powerband.

I don't know where you're getting your info on Paul Turner High rev pipes. Are you comparing Banshee pipes or something? I've ridden R's with the ESR pipes and they're nice but nothing to write home about. The high rev on my R is not a peaky pipe at all. The biggest improvement over the FMF was actually it added a ton of low end and the power comes on way lower than it did before. Totally smooth delivery and still revs out. Most of the other guys on here with High Revs will tell you the same thing. The name is misleading.

Edit: and where do you see used PT high rev pipes for sale all the time? I looked for a year and only found one that turned out to be a beat up piece of junk. I see them for the TRX sometimes, banshees often, but almost never for a 250R trike. I had an automatic search setup on ebay so everytime anything with the name Paul Turner was listed. Not one single R high rev pipe showed up that entire time (12+ months). The one I eventually did find was mislisted (Paul Tuner).

Be careful when shopping for a used PT. There are three different ones you're going to run into. The High Rev (best one by a mile), the Type 6 and the ones that don't have a name stamped onto them. From what I've seen, The no name ones are usually a type 6 and not the High Rev. Also be warned, the TRX250R pipes DO NOT fit the three wheeler. There are three PT 250R pipes on ebay right now. Only one of those will fit a trike and it's not clear in the pictures which model it is.
