i am guessing you are talking about a v-drive like they use on ski boats and old drag boats. if i remember right velvet makes them. they only have forward, reverse and nuetral. i have heard of mounting a car transmission onto the v-drive tranny for inboard boat racing. the trannys are expensive. you could try ebay or find and old v-drive boat and grab the tranny. i hope this helps

    V-drive

go to www.westcoastchoppers.com and get their phone number and call Jesse James and just ask him, thats what i think would be the easist. Its not like he does much work anymore, since Monster Garage.

Its basically a reverse mounted transfercase like in a 4x4 with some minor changes and no front drive.
