I went the other night and bought a 1979 250 artic cat spirit for 40 bux it runs well but is in horrible shape. is there anything i can do to make it fun in the mudd feilds. i only bought it rip the crap out of it and is looking for some fun the weekend

Probably going to destroy the slides and maybe the skid, but should be a hoot, take some pics. Check out these guys, it's a real shame they destroyed such a desirable high performance machine though, an el tigre.

I rode my Yamaha Bravo 250 across town on dirt and pavement roads when I bought it last summer. Just be sure to run it through puddles and stuff to keep the slides somewhat lubed up. I also did some mudrunning on the Bravo last fall, culminating in me sinking it in a pond while trying to waterskip across it.
