    350x smoking

    hey every one im new here and i need some help on my 350x so far i had it bored .5 over 10.25 compresion piston port and polished head it smoke after i did this and when it got hot and warm it quit i thought valve guides i had the head redone and now it smokes all the time i did have i valve bent u couldnt see if it was bent but i the guy at the shop sed it was and he replaced it

    well first off HOLA GRINGO!! now for your 350x smoking how many hrs has it been since its been built? it may need alittle more time to seat the rings, im not big into the 4 pokes even though I just picked up a 350x, it smokes alittle but its ok, it kinda reminds of my 2 strokers! lol!

    i printed it out a couple moths ago now i cant fine it but it says start the bike do notlet a freshly rebuilt motor sit at idle keep at a mid hi idle use fan to help keep the heat down then shut it off let it cool completle off then ride it for 20 min let cool completle do it like 3 times and its white smoke ill ride it and hour check the oil and it all gone

    hmm....white smoke you say?
    are you certain it is not a blue-ish smoke? blue-ish is oil use.
    take a real good look at the smoke cloud. it is probably oil use, but
    in cars, white smoke is usually antifreeze getting into the combustion chamber.

    fill the oil up, then run it around for a while, and periodically check the oil and see if the oil level decreases.

    ok today i pulled the head pipe off and it was wet it didnt smell like burnt oil or gas like a rich oil

    maybe the bore has alittle to much clearance in it allowing some oil past.

    when i got the cylinder back i flet the side of it and u know those cards that wen u telt them they change pictures well it felt like that it just dont fill right

    did they hone it?? sounds like they may have done a crapy job or they didnt bore out all the scratches in it left behind by the old piston

    i called the guy that did it and sed i might of honed it does any one know what it might caost for new rings for a .5 over wiseco piston

    around 30-40 and might of honed it?? who honed it? you or him? im confused! if you sent it to a machine shop for a bore they should have finished honed it for you.

    he might of? he dosnt know? man...... I would find a better place to get your stuff worked on man! thats probably the problem!! its not been bored and honed correctly, he sucks!
