86 250sx rear shock ?

Has anyone updated there rear shock and if so what did you put on it?

There is a performance shock out there. Max bought one, haven't seen him in a bit. It has a progressive spring and helps out a bit for a 300$ price tag.

BUT, I too once felt like you. Loved my SX and put a 200X front on it and did many other great mods and in the end..... it was still an SX.

If you haven't rode a 1ST or 2ND generation 200X or better yet a 350X!! you may find that you need a different model altogether.

I'll bet I was one of the BIGGEST fans of the SX and I do still swear by them as being a bulletproof/cadillac of all 3wheelers known to man.

But, if that rear pogo stick isn't handling the bumps and jumps, you may want to jump ship or ATC in this case.

EDIT - Although lately everyone is moding up everything, that SX shock is straight up and down and with the airbox, there simply isn't much room for anything else. I did go so far as to mount a 200X shock on mine but without the angle and geometry, it didn't help out at all.....
