Hey gang.
just wondering if anyone has advice as per taking out the motor in my Yamaha 225Dx.. I started with top mount bolts.. I took off the carb.. wiring is free... BUT I DONT KNOW JACK ABOUT SHAFT DRIVE.. I know there is 2 more bolts at the bottom for mounts.. and then its free except the shaft?? can I just pull motor out or is there bolts that need to be removed?
HELP PLEASE!

i dont know for sure but i would think if you take the shaft boot off then them lower mounts the engine should go forward just enough to let you pull the motor. if it wont let you pull it out you will have to more than likely pull the rear end to release the drive line. but im not sure. we have a dx but ive never pulled the motor. just had to replace the drive cam and bearings.
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.
