I highly doubt they would tell me they do not have the molds, since I am a dealer for them and offered to purchase 15 sets of tri-z plastic if they had them.

I agree, and we have contacted Maier. There are no molds, and he wants at least 1000 bucks to reproduce the molds, and 25 sets ordered at my cost.
That comes to a grand total of 2500 bucks at the very least for rad shrouds.

It is something I would check into. But I wonder if they will be the dull type plastic like the old Maier.
However,I am not a dealer for UFO.
I will look into it if you and more would like to buy.
You know he will want a minumum order.
I will reply back as soon as I get a answer.

    other options?

Have you seen the shrouds Derrick Adams is running on his TriZ 450? If noone is willing to make the stockers this may be an alternative for you tri z guys.

Or.. you can see if DC plastics on ebay is willing to give it a shot. The only problem there is finding someone thats willing to give up their shrouds for a few months.

$2500? Thats it to end all this tri-z shroud business? shiznit, who's up for a business investment? I'll pony up half of that, I'm young dumb, and just paid down all but a lil' bit of any debt I had.

We were going to do the TRI-Z shrouds, headlights and airbox covers in Febuary. All colors, including Carbon Fiber. All From Maier.
    Anyone want in on this?
I will try to finalize the pricing.

I have to order,25 sets of shrouds, broke into groups of 5 for different colors
same with the airbox covers and headlights.

I am working to get the 86 250R headlights reproduced too.In Carbon Fiber.Right Now.That is why I am waiting til Febuary for the z stuff.

If you want the z Shrouds now, lets get a list and prepay order for them.We need at least 25 shroud orders to start.I will send in all the plastics to copy from.
