DAMMIT - the clarke tank topic is gone, anyhow...

IDK what happened to that topic but anyhow... Must have got deleted by the author.

My red Clarke has held up nice but the white turned UGLY.

The Clarke white tanks yellow from having fuel in them. I never leave anything outside. I believe that the red Honda tanks get that faded white look from being left outside....

I wanted to get a white plastic tank for my 350x until Syko hooked me up with a paint job on the old metal one. I figured if it was just the fuel causing the problems I could just drain it after every ride. Kind of a pita but I'd probably still do it. Thanks for the info.

I'm confused.... Clarke what color? Is yours white? they don't fade, they just yellow up from the gas.

If yours is red, mine hasn't shown any type of fading either......
