I know this is more a question of this vs that but just in comparison. I am stationed In Korea. (US ARMY) I have an 86 TRI-Z 250 that I completely restored. Aside from a few minor mods it's stock. I bought an 82 250R recently, that is in great shape for its age. When I get back in December, I'm going to rebuild it and whatever it needs to be in perfect running condition. I've never ridden an 82 250R. I keep wondering which would win in a drag race? Anyone know?

The triz would beat it hands down.
82 r's can hold their own but all later 2 strokes are far superior due to their suspension upgrades which can handle higher speeds easier, and just improvements in the output of the motor.
