Tri-z motor--YZ motor--whats the difference??

hi

i got a tri-z and im looking for a motor but it is almost impossible

what model YZ motor is the same as a Tri-z motor??

what mods neet to be done to make it the same(ie kick forwards)??

Heres what little ive learned as im doing the swap too. To kick forward use the tri z sidecover and kick gears etc I dont know all years but 85 or 86 will work for that. You can run a tri z head on an 83 yz cylinder and will be best as far as the rad hoses fitting and top motor mount, Im sure someone will clean what I said up if im wrong.
