    225 acting weird

    i took my 225 dr out today but its acting really funny. when first started up it pulls strong then after about 3 mins. it wont even keep speed up in third gear w/ full throttle. it also seems hot afterward. what could be causing this?
    Mine: 1985 yamaha 225dr
    partly mine: 1982 185s, 1984 200es big red

    sounds like fuel starvation, check tank cap breather, check fuel filters, and that fuel is coming out the pipe if that fails strip the carb.
