ok today i just got a hmf slip on, and a 400ex head pipe, but its saying i need a 165/170 main jet but its on a 350x. i dont know any thange about carb work.

How did you get those numbers? Jets are simple to install they just unscrew and the new ones screw in.

i know how to take them out, it just is it a to big jetting for my trike.

i'd get the next two size's up from 138 and experiment to see which works best for you. Assuming you have a stock Trike other than the exhaust set-up
