Correct me if I am wrong, but isnt the 86trx250 the same motor and drivetrain as the big red? I have a chance to pick one up that runs good, headlight works, and has good tires for $100. The only thing is the brakes need some work. Sight unseen it still sounds like a good deal, I would would prolly convert it over to a snow plow for the winter, dont know how well it would work being two wheel drive and all. Has anyone ever owned one of these?

Teaching quads a lesson
I believe a friend of mine had a TRX250, and it was a kickstart. Did the Big Reds have a kickstart?
P.S. I'm sure it will work pretty good as a snow-plow if you stick some 13" wide by 25" tall tires on the back and stud them. Carlisle Strykers is what my friend had on the back of his.

Yeah they should have been kickstart and electric, thats how my sx was.
