Thanks a lot
I just put one on my tri-z the othe day and other than the resrervoir it looks like it is almost exactly the same thing. The length from eye to eye is the same and it's pretty much a bolt on but you will have to do something to mount the reservoir such as using hose clamps around the frame. But due to the crappy weather, haven't got to test it out yet![]()
I don't know, it probably is about the same as the stocker in terms of stifness though. The spring looks like it has the same thickness and number of windings
there the same, you can crank them up pretty stiff nate ..the 660 from what I have gathered makes it sit high.I haven't tryed it,,I would be very curious to know how the 660 shock with a banshee dog bone would sit..Im guessing somewhere around stock...![]()

Indeed, I have done the search and all the threads usually talk about is "Will the warrior bolt up?", "Will a banshee work?", or "What rear shocks work?". Nowhere could I find anything about a comparison to the stock shock, and thats what i needed to know. However I did go through the results and found TimSr speaking about the warrior and '01 raptor. Thank You
Tim had posted somewhere in there that the spring rate of the warrior shock is slightly stiffer than the stock tri-z shock.
Mosh also posted that last week or so that the warrior is slightly stiffer than the stock z shock.
He has both shocks on 2 tri-z's and there is definately a difference in stiffness.
Anyway he has gotten 6-8 feet in height and about 30 feet out jumping his Z with a warrior shock and he had no problems with it.He wieghs about 180lbs.
