    1985 250R headlight assembly on a 250SX??

    Will a 1985 250R headlight assembly fit on a 1986 250SX? I was thinking of getting a Maier headlight shroud and then using my straps off my current headlight on it. I think that the straps are the same...

    And are the headlights the same size? Just wondering if I would have to find a different light also....

    That would look cool, I never thought of a 250R H/L on an SX. As long as you can match up the high/low beam & ground wires, it should work.Good luck, let's see some when you're done! TGG..................................

    Brapp's one SX has an '86 R headlight on it, looks good. I dont know about stuff interchanging though

    Yeah I think I am going to try it.... I hope the headlight will fit that is currently in my sx (just the light itself).

    the light itself i belive will fit the housign but not 100% shure but i do know the whole headlight itself will fit and just use the sx plug right into the 250r bulb. thats alli did with mine.
