Beater being Re-done... Ouch!!! (Pics inside)

Hey there guys. Just wanted to let you know what's going on with my (very dead) 86' 250R beater.

After a catastrophic failure in May:

I have been gathering parts to fix this thing. I got a hold of this on E-Bay this past week and bought everything I needed from 1 guy. And what a motor this will be. Pics are worth 1000 words!!!

Here are the package I got.

The Pro Design cool head. Cool indeed

This is a brand new Hot Rods Crank and Long Rod (4mm longer)

And 1 mean and very BIG CT Racing ported Cylinder.

A view of the ports. Nice and professionally done.

Every single bearing inside this engine is new, gaskets and seals, cylinder, piston, head... You name it, it's prob'ly new. It's been a very expensive few months.

Just wanted to let you guys know. BUT...It's not over just yet.

    TORKER.
THOSE WHO SAY IT CANNOT BE DONE, SHOULD NOT GET IN THE WAY OF THOSE BUSY DOING IT...

Put a grease fitting on the cylinder to keep the rings lubed?

But seriously thats gonna be one FUN ride. Just top that off with a CR head gasket
