Currently trikeless
That kicker mechanism that slips is inside the center cases. The motor must come out, the top end pulled off the entiree clutch and oil rotor removed and last the case split.
Hey, lets not jump to conclusions. Most of the kickers out there are fine but if it slips even one time, I'd unload that thing real quick!!
All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country
Just don't kick 4 strokes over like a 2 stroke dirt bike and you'll be fine, I usually kick it once slow to the ground, raise it back up 1/2 way and kick. You can roll it just past TDC, then kick hard and that'd probably help too.
Don't later 200x's have problems with the kick shaft snapping off?
Dirtcrasher, get my PM?

Well, here's a good comparo for you....I've got one of each, and ILOVE and PREFER to ride the 86 over the 85. It is world's apart difference between the two bikes.
And this is how the 85 is now, I picked up a few things for it, but the 86 rides better, kicks easier, starts in 1 kick 99% of the time.

Buy them both if you can. because you'll probably look back later wishing you did.
Fact: If you build both bikes to their maximum potential the '85 will smoke the '86.![]()
