DO NOT put a Z engine in a blaster...ive got a friend wanting to do this now because he doesn't have the balls to hold onto the Z.

I'd say it would fit seeing as it's smaller due to it being liquid cooled, but you'd have to find a place for the rads and probably re-work a few things.

On a side note... is the Blaster complete? Any chance you're looking to get rid of the pipe?

I would drop a cr85 motor or something like that in, its been done. Ive always wanted to do this. I dont know how fast it would turn out though with a motor of that. Maybe slower..

There is a guy on the west coast that runs a 310 bigbore tri-z motor in his blaster.
I dont recall the sepcifics of the swap. But he did it, and said it was not too hard.
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

I bought a Tri-Z roller off of a guy that did this swap. It was just a matter of making motor mounts and a pipe to fit. It was a ripper!

i can honestly say if its a complete tri-z dont do it just look for a wr200motor its basicaly a liquid cooled blaster its almost a direct bolt in just need to make mounts for the rads. it was an awesoem xc bike and didnt have to mes swith gearign too much either but we have also use da yz465 motor that worked with verry littl emodifications.

A blasters stock chassis can't even handle the 240 kit without breaking in half, I can't imagine it would last too long with a z motor in it! Of course if you didn't woods ride or mx with it you'd prolly be fine.

I wouldnt do it unless you are a small person and you have money to invest in the suspension and brakes... Otherwise it is just a waste of a engine...
